The 4400W surge capacity starts demanding loads — submersible pumps, large compressors, and high-inrush kitchen appliances — that smaller stations cannot reliably energize. At 400W of solar input, two SolarSaga 200W panels recharge the 2042Wh battery in approximately 6 hours — appropriate for full-day basecamp use where the station charges while powering loads simultaneously.
